JB, for Brownett's, London 1867, the ruby cut glass body with central hinge and inner pierced cover exposing a grill, the domed terminals each with initials and cypher for Queen Victoria

With accompanying letter from J. R.A. Robertson solicitors, dated 26th June 1969 listing bequests including "Queen Victoria's Vinaigrette given to me by the late Duke of Kent" The form of crown and cypher are similar to others seen on presentation pieces formerly belonging to Queen Victoria.
