Footnote
The name MemoSail was Patented in 1972 by Ebauches Electroniques SA and remained available in various forms until 1985. The example offered is the first generation of MemoSail in an oversized round case with typical 70's minute track on the striking blue dial. Promoted as the ‘Olympic Yachtsmans Chronograph’ the count-down changes from yellow to red then white with the word START running anti-clockwise.
