Arabic manuscript on paper, 100 leaves, 11 lines to the page written in naskhi script in black ink, verse separators of gold roundels with alternating blue and red dots, inner margins ruled in gold, black and red, catchwords and phrases in red, illuminated frontispiece with floral decoration in the outer margins, 12 illuminated headpieces in colours and gold, red morocco with gilt floral sprays and margins, doublures of marbled paper

Footnote
A collection of prayers for the Prophet originally composed by the 15th century Moroccan scholar Muhammad al-Jazuli, this manuscript and the following two are known as the Dala'il al-Khayrat, literally translated as 'Guides of Goodness''. These prayer manuals were particularly popular during the 18th and 19th centuries and generally include illustrations of the holy cities of Mecca and Medina.
