Sale number: 12345We were delighted to present our inaugural auction of <a href="/departments/islamic-indian-art" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Islamic &amp; Indian Art</a> featuring Indian Paintings from the Collection of William &amp; Mildred Archer, led by Kristina Sanne on 12 June 2024.&nbsp; &nbsp;The sale was very well received and achieved a total of £950,000 (inclusive of premium).&nbsp; The auction included Indian Popular Paintings (Lots 84-109), some superb examples of paintings attributed to the Punjab Hills (Lots 121-131) and an exceptionally rare <a href="/auctions/islamic-and-indian-art-12345/lot/139" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">European and Chinese-inspired painting attributed to Surat, circa 1740</a> (Lot 139).
