Footnote
Note: Born into a theatrical family Randel Hodson made his stage début while only a few weeks old. As he grew up he was part of the family touring shows, eventually becoming an actor and variety performer in his own right. He returned to work with his father's marionettes during the 1940s. Not unlike other performers, Hodson added the "De" to his name to make it sound more exotic and interesting to an English audience.
