Footnote
Note: The Working Men's Educational Union was 19th century English union, with rooms at 25 King William Street, Trafalgar Square, London. Founded in December 1851 by Benjamin Scott the union began producing 'diagrams', a series of large, coloured lithographs printed on calico, with eyelets on each corner, to illustrate lectures to their members. John Ruskin was an ardent supporter of the scheme.
