Footnote
Oviraptor was a small, feathered dinosaur that lived during the Late Cretaceous Period about 85 million years ago. It had a toothless beak, a distinctive crest on its head, and was closely related to modern birds. Oviraptor was originally thought to steal and eat eggs, which inspired its name meaning "egg thief." Later discoveries showed that it likely cared for its own nests and brooded its eggs like birds do today.
