L5; olivine hypersthenic chondrite.
This meteorite originates from the well-documented Campos Sales fall of 31st January 1991, when a meteorite shower descended between Araripe and Campos Sales in Ceará, northeastern Brazil, at around 10 p.m., residents across the region witnessed a brilliant fireball streaking through the night sky, followed by a powerful detonation heard over a wide area, and fragments were subsequently recovered from several locations.
