Provenance
Graham Turnor, Bollingbroke Cattle Station, Queensland, acquired mid-1870s whilst working as a cattle drover in western and central Queensland, prior to his purchasing Bollingbroke Station in 1879.
Turnor gifted the shield to his niece, Theodora Caroline Trench (1891 - 1971) of Loughton House, County Offaly, Ireland, in 1920. They remained in the family via descent, until the contents of Loughton House were sold in September 2016.
