Footnote
After a dramatic fireball and powerful explosions seen and heard across hundreds of miles, this meteorite fell to Earth in Morocco in early March 1998. Known as Zag, it is a striking brecciated H3-6 regolith chondrite, valued for its complexity and rarity. Notably, blue halite (salt) crystals discovered within its H3 regions have been found to contain traces of extraterrestrial liquid water, placing Zag among only a handful of meteorites known to preserve this remarkable feature.
