Footnote
Note:
It is generally believed that the Luristan region was a significant centre for metalworking during the Iron Age in the ancient Near East; producing weapons, ornaments, and other objects of bronze and iron. A large number of these artefacts, especially weaponry, have been found in other neighbouring territories, suggesting that they may have been traded or commissioned, including to the Persian Empire.
