comprising a BRASS EXAMPLE, with two hinged compartments and a match safe, the cover engraved with the figure of a portly beadle, possibly Mr. Bumble, and inscribed 'T LOWE/ PERTH', 13cm long; the SILVER PLATED EXAMPLE, of octagonal form, the rotating cover engraved with a stag and dated 1868, and inscribed ALEX MILLER, the reverse with a view of a paddle steamer passing Dumbarton Rock, 6.5cm wide
