Note: Thomas Willson is listed as a furniture broker and appraiser at 68 Great Queen Street in London between 1821-29, and is likely to be the ‘Thomas Wilson’ recorded as an auctioneer at 28 Great Queen Street, 1799-1825. As well as retailing second-hand furniture, by companies like Gillows, paper labels used by the firm suggest Willson was also a cabinet maker. Following his death, his widow Mary and son, Matthew continued the firm, from 1830 until 1837.
