Description
of rectangular form outlined with ebony moulding enclosing tortoiseshell panels backed with painted gold leaf scenes of European figures, animals and birds; the drop-front with a mother-of-pearl escutcheon opening to three short drawers above one long drawer outlined with ivory banding with further scenes of Europeans and Indian servants, raised on turned bun feet
