Description
the breakfront top with a brass galleried central section with an open mirrored recess, flanked by doors with three quarter brass galleries over panels centred by Sevres style porcelain plaques depicting French beauties against a blue celeste ground, the corners mounted with gilt metal figures of Shakespeare and Milton; the lower section with a moulded brass edge over three frieze drawers mounted with rinceau and further porcelain plaques, above two tiers and mirrored back flanked by fluted tapered supports, raised on toupie feet
