in the Art Nouveau style with metamorphic action, the hinged top opening to a rising stationery rack with pocket watch holder, calendar frame and paper clips, above a bank of seven short drawers and writing slide with oxblood leather, over a long frieze drawer with Bramah locks, raised on square straight legs with slightly splayed feet and joined by arched stretchers; bearing an ivorine label 'BEST LONDON MAKE'; together with an oxblood leather blotter
