the upper part with a hinged top and fall front opening to reveal a compartmented interior with ivory writing implements, a white metal pocket watch, and leather bound ledgers, above a writing pad and enamel planner; the separate base with a deep frieze drawer flanked by open compartments, raised on straight square legs, the whole with ribbon tied bell flower garlands and trails
