the first with two putti representing Winter, who warms his hands over a fire, and Spring, who carries a pierced basket of flowers and holds a posy in each hand, on a naturalistic rocky base with moulded gilt edged rocaille scrolls; blue crossed swords; incised 1239; the other with two putti representing Autumn, who carries a scythe, and Summer, who carries a bunch of grapes; on a naturalistic rocky base with moulded gilt edged rocaille scrolls; underglaze blue crossed swords, incised 1230
