Note: A military careerist who reached the rank of General, Enrico Malvani was also a writer and most notably a sculptor specialising in equestrian subjects. In 1904 he exhibited at the Italian Exhibition at Earl's Court in London; 1906 the National Exhibition of Fine Arts, Milan; and in 1931 the Colonial Exhibition in Paris. The same year he was awarded the Colonial Order of the Star of Italy.
