Provenance: This intricately carved and detailed cabinet, formerly at Ackergill Tower, Wick, was according to family tradition purchased in India in the latter part of the 19th century by a member of the Duff-Dunbar family who was on military service with the Cameron Highlanders. It was then brought back to Scotland upon inheriting the Caithness estate.
