surmounted by a figure of Cupid on a waisted pediment, above a waisted case enclosing a white enamelled dial with Roman numerals and dragon-form mount, the eight day movement striking two bells and signed FRANCOIS LE ROY/ A PARIS/ NO. 1255, all raised on scrolled leafy feet; raised on a matching bracket, with rococo gilt mounts
