Note: The present lot relates directly to a suite of furniture supplied to Edward Leigh (1742-1786), 5th Baron Leigh of Stoneleigh, Stoneleigh Abbey, Kenilworth, Warwickshire in 1764. A bergere with matching stretchers and carved legs, and a Pembroke table most likely from the same suite sold Christie's 22 November 2007, The Property of the Stoneleigh Chattels Settlement, lots 611 and 612.
