the axe heads polychrome decorated to one side with a coat-of-arms and initials J.W. and S.W, the reverse with initials J.W.W and S.W.W.; the truncheons with ring-turned handles; in an ebonised green baize lined case with painted inscription ‘COURT STAR / 1598 / A.O.F. Feb.y 1911.’
