the silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals, signed ‘W W Logan, Paris’, inside a pierced gilt brass floral mask with matching centre, in an Anglaise Riche lacquered brass moulded case the panels with pierced brass grills and the side panels with slight bowfronted bevelled glass, the top with a button repeat and scrolling handle, the twin train brass movement with a silvered platform lever escapement and striking on a coiled steel gong, the backplate stamped ‘E. M & Co.’ within an oval and numbered ‘2951’, in an glazed Moroccan leather case, the base stamped with matching number, with the original matching number winder
