watercolour on ivory, including a PORTRAIT MINIATURE OF A GENTLEMAN, on rectangular panel, the sitter with red hair, seated by a window and wearing a black coat, dark waistcoat, white winged collar shirt and cravat, with a red curtain behind, signed ‘Rochard’ and dated 1832, with a gilt slip mount, behind glass, inside a velvet lined tooled leather case, the miniature 10.5cm high, 8.5cm wide; a PORTRAIT MINIATURE OF A YOUNG GENTLEMAN, oval, the sitter with dark hair wearing a dark coat with black velvet collar, a white winged collar shirt and dark cravat, set in a glazed gilt metal locket with suspension loop, the miniature 6cm high, 4.5cm wide; and a SMALL PORTRAIT MINIATURE OF AN OFFICER, oval, the sitter in a red collar uniform with gilt trim, set in a glazed gilt metal locket with suspension loop, engraved to the back ‘F. Rochard, 1840’, the miniature 4cm high, 3cm wide (3)
