Description
the cartouche shaped back in a bead and reel moulded frame with carved flower cresting, with a needlework cover worked in gros a petit point depicting figures in a pastoral landscape, above a wide serpentine stuff-over seat flanked by part-padded arms, raised on square tapered legs carved with harebell trails and ending in toupie feet, the frame painted black and picked out with gilt details
