the brass breakarch dial with silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals and Arabic five minute markers, the matted centre with a subsidiary seconds dial and a date aperture, pierced mask spandrels, the arch with a silvered signature plate flanked by pierced dolphins, the moulded breakarch caddy top surmounted by an eagle and ball finial flanked by ball finials, the centre of the caddy with a fretwork panel, the glazed door flanked by three quarter columns with gilt metal Doric capitals, the plain case with breakarch trunk door and square plinth base with bracket feet, the twin train weight driven movement striking on a bell
