with lacquer papier mache covers [detached], the front cover painted with an exotic architectural and figurative scene within a scrolling gilt border with gilt highlights, frontispiece inscribed 'Sarah J Macleod' and dated 1851; including a variety of painted botanical studies, landscapes including a pencil sketch of ‘Rosstrevor Bay and Carlingford’, indistinctly signed; a pen and ink study of a galleon with ‘SMC’ monogram; sketches of Cape Town; a watercolour study of ‘Lough Neagh County Antrim Ireland’, signed A Young; photographs, scraps, and four Chinese pith paper paintings
