centred with five portraits of Lord Kitchener, President Poincare, King George V, Prince Albert and General French, printed on fabric, over a cartouche printed with men on horseback representing the N. S. Wales Lancers, the Bengal Cavalry, and the Canadian Dragoons; surmounted with an embroidered crown flanked to either side with embroidered allied flags, also embroidered with two handshakes each under a banner inscribed ‘Souvenir for Egypt 1916’ and ‘For the King and my Country’, with a framed photograph to each side, showing a soldier and his sweetheart, and a mother and child, enclosed within a garland of flowers and love heart motifs, with a lace trimmed border, in a moulded wooden frame
