Casilda Marquesa de Santa Cruz (1914-2008)
Her Excellency the Marchioness of Santa Cruz, was a Spanish noblewoman who spent most of her later life recouping her family's legacy following the effects of the Spanish Civil war. In 1942 she married José Fernandez Villaverde y Roca de Togores who worked at the London Embassy from 1958 to1972. It would have been there where she met and formed a friendship with Lady Airlie.
