the cast brass body stamped ‘Modele Depose’ to the deck and hull with original silvered finish, the body and deck with recesses for a clock, aneroid barometer to the ventilator, thermometer on to the funnel, compass by the tiller and propeller mechanism, all now removed, brass fittings including torpedo slung out in davits and bow tube, stamped ‘7’ to several sections

The present lot has been stripped down to the brass case alone but the casting and finishing of the brass is consistent with late 19th century pieces.
