Description
one from Valencia (Manises), with a central boss radiating blue leaves within a gadrooned band, the border with four flattened leaves in relief outlined in blue against a ground with fruit motifs, trefoils and leaves, the edge with a band of half circle loops, 'de la ungla', the reverse painted with whorls, and concentric bands around a central flower head, pierced hanging hole; the other with a raised central boss decorated with a flowerhead motif, within a band of stylised foliate motifs, the rim with relief moulded leaf designs on a ground with scrolls and foliate motifs, the reverse painted with scrolling foliate designs and concentric lines around a central band of radiating lines (2)
