Lord Francis Jeffrey (1773-1850) was a Scottish judge and literary critic. He was co-founder and editor of The Edinburgh Review. This bust is a copy of the one in marble completed by Peter Slater (1809-1870), now in the collection of the Royal Faculty of Procurators, Glasgow.
