the cream enamel dial with Arabid numerals, a subsidiary second and date dials centre, signed ‘D Northgraves, Hull’, painted floral and gilt spandrels, the arch painted month moonphase with scenes of ships, the bell top pediment with a figural marquetry roundel and three brass eagle and ball finials, the door flanked by Doric fluted columns, the trunk with canted angles and gothic arch door, on a plain square plinth base with bracket feet, the twin train weight driven movement striking to a bell
