Description
by Barbedienne, medium brown patina, modelled tethered together on a short length of rope with Fanfardon seated and Brillador on the scent, on a rounded rectangular naturalistic base plinth strewn with pine branches and the tracks of a deer, the names of the dogs cast into the base, the side of the base signed ‘A. CAIN' and ‘F. Barbedienne’, also inscribed ‘1892- S.D.E-1900'
