the hinged lid of the carved box depicting Napoleon standing beside a fluted column surmounted with a globe and scroll with flags alongside, carved to the reverse with a stylised flowerhead and an acanthus leaf border, 7cm wide; the fruitwood box of demi-lune form, the cover carved with a lady in profile, wearing a leaf garland on her head within a roundel, flanked by cornucopia, the sides of the box carved with panels of flowers and an architectural arch (2)
