probably Dutch, the 12 inch engraved barrel struck with proof marks (rubbed), the full walnut stock carved in relief with foliate design, the action with some rubbed engraving below the pan, with reeded frizzen, the other wide with pierced brass mount, brass trigger guard and ramrod caps, the elongated brass mounted butt with chased boss
