the 3 inch brass break arch dial with a silver chapter ring with Roman numerals and Arabic five minute markers, the centre with a subsidiary date dial and a day aperture below, the arch set with a subsidiary month dial, pierced spandrels, the typical case bell top case with glazed front and rear doors on bracket feet, the green and gilt painted decoration likely later, the interior ebonised, the single chain fusée timepiece movement winding from the back, with integral bob pendulum, the backplate signed ‘Wm. Hemings, London’ and numbered ‘150’
