with browned Damascus 23inch barrels rifled with eight grooves and fore and back sights, the top-rib signed in gold 'J. ENDEL IN PRAG', foliate engraved breech block with twin platinum lines, the long shaped tang finely engraved with a mountain landscape with an ibex framed in gold and inset with an escutcheon engraved with a nine point coronet and the initials ‘WK’, finely engraved shaped lock with scrolling foliage enclosing a running stag and hunting dog to either side, the figured walnut half stock carved in relief with scrolling oak leaves and acorns with chequering to the grip, plain cheek-piece, the patch-box engraved with a sportsman leaning against a stump, the heel-plate engraved with a foliage and a fox, the shaped scroll trigger guard engraved with a chamois and pierced spurred horn tang to the trigger-guard, double trigger, iron sling mounts to the underside of the barrel and screwed into the underside of the butt, with a side barrel mounted brass ended mahogany ramrod
