the 11 inch brass breakarch dial with silver chapter ring, Roman numerals and Arabic five minute markers, a subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture to the mask, with pierced foliate spandrels, the arch with a silvered signature roundel ‘Robert, Holland, London’ flanked by pierced dolphins, the domed caddy top case with moulded cornice, the dial flanked by Doric columns, the breakarch moulded trunk door on a square moulded plinth base, decorated throughout with blue and gilt lacquer panels showing figures in a palace and garden landscape, with a twin train movement
