each of round form, printed in blue below the pouring lip with a crown and ‘Mason’s Patent Ironstone Mortar', with three ironstone pestles, two with a wooden handle, the smallest mortar with four impressed circles, the second smallest impressed with three circles, the largest impressed with a 2; together with THREE GRADUATED MAW & SON FUNNELS, each with a moulded cartouche bearing fleur de lys motifs and impressed S. MAW SON & THOMPSON LONDON, and impressed 1, 2 and 3 from smallest to largest, the largest funnel impressed to the reverse REGISTERED MARCH 3, 1871 (10)
