Description
comprising a Wedgwood game pie dish with liner and cover, moulded with game birds, rabbits and fruiting vines, impressed WEDGWOOD; a late 18th century Turner plate crisply moulded with a central flowerhead within radiating stylised petal motifs, the rim with scrolling floral designs, impressed TURNER; a Turner cream jug of oval form, moulded to one side with putti at play and to the reverse with a weeping maiden with her dog, impressed TURNER; an inkwell, probably Ridgway, moulded with a band of acanthus leaves, with an inner well, unmarked; an egg hoop with engine turned basket weave moulding, unmarked; and a coffee cup, probably Davenport, the lower body with moulded vertical ribs, rim, handle and body with blue line detail, painted in blue enamel with a ‘C’, no factory mark, base inscribed in pencil ‘C D G Langley’ (6)
