the 7-inch square brass dial with a silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals and engraved Arabic five minute markers, winged cherub spandrels, signed 'Fran. Reynolds, Kensington' above to the top of the plate flanked by foliate engraving, matted centre with two winding holes, blued steel moon hands, the case with pierced repousse double basket top surmount with a twin caryatid cast handle, the upper tier with a profile mask flanked by putti, the lower tier with relief panel of St. George slaying the dragon within a putti and scroll decorated field, above rope twist and beaded ogee moulded lower border, flanked by brass flambeau urn finials to the angles, double-ogee top mouldings above a glazed door with gilt brass mounts to all rails repeated on the reverse, the sides inset with gilt repousse work framed silk-lined sound frets and raised on block feet, the twin fusee movement with anchor escapement striking to a bell
