with a 3 ¾ inch silvered dial with subsidiary seconds and wind hours remaining dials, signed 'Victor Kullberg, Maker to the Admiralty, The Indian & Italian Governments, 105 Liverpool Road, London N.', in a rosewood and brass bound case mounted with a top brass shield cartouche engraved ‘Yallaroi’ and an ivory plaque, with the original winding key

Note: The 'Yallaroi' was a three masted iron sailing ship rigged with three skysails and a spike bowsprit, built by Alexander Hall & Co, Aberdeen, and launched in 1885 for Alexander Nicol & Co., Aberdeen. It was assigned the official British Reg. No. 88866 and was employed in the Australian wool trade. It made the return crossing from Australia to Britain at least four times from 1885 to 1890, the fastest being Sydney with a cargo wool to London in 91 days in 1887.
