Description
the brass breakarch dial with silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals and Arabic five minute markers, gilt spandrels and a slow/fast subsidiary dial to the arch, the arched top surmounted by an urn and four flame finials, the glazed door flanked by chamfered corners with female mask mounts and a pair of gilt brass pierced scrolling fret panels, gilt presentation plaque below the door, raised on a stepped moulded base and gilt brass acanthus scroll feet, the brass three train movement striking a coiled blued steel gong and chiming to a pinwheel activated nest of four gongs, pull repeat cord to one side
