the moulded panel back and enclosed sides above long seat and scrolled arms with Doric pilaster supports, on a moulded panel box base with two cupboard doors; with a squab cushion depicting Chinese vases against a pale cream ground

Note: This early Georgian settle includes some older 17th century oak panel sections probably repurposed from an Elizabethan or Jacobean panelled room. These include sections of a fluted pilaster on the hood and scrolled capitals for the arms.
