to include a sampler worked by Anne Kerr, Glasgow, dated 24th April 1835 with seven alphabets and two number series, family initials, Lord's Prayer and verse from Cowper, 38cm x 32cm; another by Agnes Clark Kerr, Glasgow, 1838 with five alphabets and one number series, family initials, and a passage from Robert Dodsley's ‘The Oeconomy of Human Life’, 39.5cm x 31cm; together with a SCOTTISH VERSE SAMPLE by Margaret Murray, with two alphabets and a number series, with the Lord's Prayer and Apostle's Creed, family names and borders of thistles, roses, crowns and coronets, 29cm x 28cm, all framed (3)
