Description
the 12 inch silvered dial with Roman numerals and Arabic five minute markers, subsidiary seconds and date dials, signed ‘Wm Chisolm, Aberdeen’, the hood with moulded arch surmounted by a palmette, the dial with ebonised triple moulding flanked by fluted chambered corners and round pierced sound frets to the sides, the case with breakarch trunk door with boxwood stringing flanked by fluted quarter columns, on a square plinth base with matching stringing on a bracket foot, the twin train movement striking to a bell
