Description
the 5 1/2in arched painted cream enamel dial with Roman numerals and a strike/silent subsidiary to the arch, signed ‘James McCabe, Royal Exchange, London, 2223’, the rectangular case with a chamfer stepped caddy top and a dentine pediment above the arched glazed door with canted edges, flanked to each side by gilt brass double cornucopia mask ring handle and a pierced brass fretted panel, hinged glazed back door, raised on bun feet, the brass twin train chain fusée movement striking on a bell and with pull repeat, with brass pendulum locking nut and pull repeat cord to one side
