Description
the brass breakarch dial with silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture, pierced brass spandrels, the arch set with a silvered signature plate signed ‘William Veitch, Haddington’, the hood with broken swan neck pediment centred by a brass eagle and ball finial above a line cut frieze, the dial flanked by Doric columns, the trunk with plain breakarch door, on a plain plinth base with step moulding on bracket feet, twin train movement striking a bell
